Bellevue Scoop: Spring Has Sprung in Bellevue |
By

It may not feel like spring in the Pacific Northwest but March 20 marked the vernal equinox; therefore, according to the calendar, spring has sprung. |
|
While most of us are still bundling up in wool coats, silk scarves and leather gloves, The Bellevue Collection embraced the spring spirit with three days of spring runway shows
on March 27-29.
Fashion retailers from The Bellevue Collection showed off their spring/summer styles in a free runway show for shoppers. A common thread exists between each retailer's showcase, with the economy being in a repressed state, this season spring fashion is staying simple.
It's safe to say, this spring you'll be able to purchase items you'll wear for years to come. |
Style staples includes:
- asymmetrical dresses
- grey and nude neutral-colored clothing
- well-constructed geometric shapes
- relaxed ankle-length pants
- versatile blazers
Retailers included: 7 For All Mankind, Banana Republic,
Bump Maternity, Cache, David Lawrence, Eddie Bauer, ExOffico, Gap, Helly Hansen, Louie Permelia, lucy, lululemon athletica, Macy's, MARQSMEN, and Martin + Osa.
If you missed spring's first runway event, don't fret. You have one more chance to participate in the fashion frenzy. The Bellevue Collection is teaming up with Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE) to bring you
Silhouettes of Style
on Friday, April 3, at The Westin Bellevue.
